Slender: The Arrival

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a great game-it's as much of an improvement as Black Ops II was. The Campaign mode is awesome, I couldn't stop playing it. I played through on Regular and it seemed harder than the normal Call of Duty campaigns, but what's the fun of a game without the challenge? As Infinity Ward does best, the Campaign leaves the game wide open for a sequel. I'm on the edge of my seat to see what comes next.

I also played the Multiplayer, which is also really awesome. In my opinion, it's better than Black Ops II's Multiplayer. Here are the reasons why: not everyone is a hardcore Call of Duty player on it, it has a new "select everything in your class" system other than Pick-10, some awesome gear, multiple characters that you can use and customize, and you now can lean around corners and attack. I like their Class system better because the Pick-10 was too limited on everything. They're both revolutionary ideas for Call of Duty Multiplayer, but I just prefer Infinity Ward's system.

There's also the new Squads mode. It allows you to invite friends to your Squad to attack other people's Squads, or you can battle alongside your Squad members(AI) and put your faith in them. I prefer playing with the AI because I give my Squad members cool names like Slender, Jeff the Killer, Beckett(from Vampire the Masquerade), and other awesome names. You're free to name and customise your Squad however you want which is another great reason to buy Call of Duty: Ghosts. I don't think I'll ever get tired of playing the multiplayer in this game with so many options.

And now for the last mode, Extinction. If you liked Survival mode from MW3(which is part of Squads mode now) and Zombies mode from the World at War/Black Ops series, you are bound to love this mode. There's even a leveling system. I tried it offline on Split-Screen and Solo mode, but they don't even touch the online experience. The mode is set up so that teamwork is required, so if you aren't a team player, don't play this mode. For the sake of everyone, don't play this. You're supposed to set up a drill to attack all of the alien pods(I don't remember what they're called in Extinction), and every time you set up a drill there's a challenge that you have to complete before the drill is done. Such as don't go into Last Stand before it's done, get 25 kills with Shotguns/LMGs/SMGs/etc., and a lot more. Overall, I like the mode, I don't love it, but it was a great idea to add another layer to the Ghosts experience.

I know I didn't cover everything in the game, but that leaves more for you to find out yourself. At least get it from Redbox and try it out or something, you won't regret it.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

If you've been looking for a horror game that can actually make you yell from terror, you'll want to play this game. Slender: The Arrival, the sequel to the popular horror game Slender, is yet another revolutionary horror experience. The storyline was written by the cast of MarbleHornets, so, of course, it's got the best story of any Slender game currently created. You're a girl named Lauren on your way to your friend Kate's house, but your Volvo crashes a little ways away from her house. Once you get to Kate's house, you realize things aren't right.

The story is really interesting and fun, but it's way too short. The good thing is that it has replay value as there are secrets in the storyline. In the video above, I show everyone how to get into and complete an entire Secret Stage. Watch until about 0:32 if you don't want any spoilers about it. Anyways, it's a great horror game that would appeal to any horror game fan. Just watch your back... Actually don't watch your back. He's always behind you. Lol.
